Kvas (Drink)

This drink tasted similar to root beer and liquorice. Dr. Lasevich was telling us the story of how this drink was served in these big round barrels when she was younger. As little kids they enjoyed the drink because not only did they like the taste, but they felt very adult when drinking it due to the barrels being very similar to the barrels used for beer. This drink was very different to what I am used to and like Dr. Lasevich said, in order to really enjoy this drink you have to either grow up with it or have an acquired taste.
