Kvass is a fermented yeast drink that was created centuries ago and served as a replacement for beer for kids and adults. The kvass we drank was a dark color which was similar to Coca-Cola but their tastes differed greatly. I would say Kvass is a acquired taste its sour and unlike anything I have tried before and has a strong lingering taste.
