On day one of our Spring Intensive, the culmination of our day included Plombir. Plombir is essentially Russian ice cream. Recipes vary, but it can be made with vanilla, cream, eggs, and sugar. It came in multiple flavors, including vanilla and chocolate. Plombir had a rich and creamy texture, and was lighter and more airy than typical ice cream. It was distinctly rich and velvety, with a subtle sweetness that made it absolutely delicious! The cone, like that of a typical ice cream cone, added a nice texture in contrast to the creamy ice cream texture. Overall, plombir was tasty treat!
