Chinatown Mural Project

During our trip to Chinatown, we saw many beautiful murals along the streets. We soon learned that these were all painted under the Chinatown Mural Project, which aimed to help Chinatown during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when many Chinese businesses closed. This specific mural is called Zodiac Dim Sum, and was one of the many incredible paintings we viewed! It was the third installment of the Chinatown Mural Project. In this mural, traditional dim sum dishes can be seen, as well as the 12 Chinese Zodiac Animals. I appreciate the vibrancy of the painting in addition to the vast size, which made it truly impressive.
