On our first day of class, we tried Soviet food, and one of my favorite foods from that day was the Soviet sucking candies. When we went to Brighton Beach I was thrilled to find these candies in several of the stores we went to. I bought many different types of candies and as shown in the photo, Mena, Katharine, and I tried them all. My favorite one was pear flavored. So delicious! I hope to buy more soon to have around my house!
