Here, I interview my mother on her story as an immigrant from Romania. Up until 1989, Romania was under a communist regime. In 1994, she obtained a VISA from the young democratic government and immigrated to the US. She won the “Green Card Lottery,” and now is living in America for over 20 years through this journey!
