During preseason, the team alternated between\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">footwork and conditioning every day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As the regular season began, the team practiced the aforementioned footwork and conditioning\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">as well as fencing under the supervision of head coach Ted Li.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Captain Michael Sun (V) says his goal for this fencing season \u201cis to make sure that everyone\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">improves as a fencer and feels invested into the team.\u201d It is clear that the team is driven by\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">teamwork and a desire for everyone to improve as a fencer. This is especially important as brand\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">new fencers on the team can learn from those who are more experienced.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With the new Bugliari Athletics Center, the team will be able to practice on electric fencing\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">strips to aid them in achieving this goal.
