Independent Research Team (or IRT for short) is exactly what the name denotes! It is selective groups of students doing original scientific research on topics including molecular biology, biochemistry, physics, and computer science. IRT research is performed at high levels applying advanced scientific methods and techniques. One of the primary objectives of IRT is to provide students with an opportunity to engage in scientific inquiry beyond what is offered in the classroom. This involves designing and conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting their findings in Pingry Community Research Journal and Research Week.
